Paco CT’s photos. Retrieved October 25, 2007, from http://www.flickr.com/photos/paco_calvino/ You can use Flickr in the classroom to reinforce vocabulary. In this example of the house you can use nouns or adjectives. In Spanish noun/adjective gender agreement is a fundamental part of grammar. You can also use Flickr for initiating research projects. For example you can post pictures of interesting animals from South America to generate student interest in research projects.

David,
I really like the idea of linking the pictures to vocabulary. To run with this idea, we could maybe insert these pictures in graphic organizers as well. I totally agree that flickr can help create a great spark for many projects and activities in the classroom. -Justin

Using Flickr in the classroom will be a great way to keep photos in a central location. Students will learn how to upload their ideas.
